THOU MAYEST

Why live as if you've got all day When the day belongs not to you? Circumstance need not dictate your eventuality. Time is short and life is fleeting. Clutch His hand with all your might. Know that you live on borrowed strength - Borrowed breath, borrowed time. Realize the gravity of this ongoing war. Take heed to he who misguides you - Blurs your focus and derails your train. Some particular day your finality will be imminent. No permission slip for absence shall be honored. What was it all for? What have you to offer for a defense? He bids entry, you who are faithful. The Lawyer and the Judge await. Copyright © 2002 Haile Nkrumah Gault
